To anyone that is disappointed in a celebrity fav that hasn’t spoken out or has said something tone deaf please ask yourself if you feel this way bc you want them to use their platform better or bc you feel their actions somehow reflect poorly on you

The same goes for people whose favs have spoken out and contributed. Ask yourself if you’re pleased with their actions bc theyre using their platform well or bc it makes you look better for liking them

I’ve had favs who have spoken out, those who have made comments I personal found tone deaf, and favs that haven’t spoken or waited too long to say something. While I wish the ones that have dropped the ball did more I know I still have some power to support the movement too

This is not about your reputation it is about supporting the voices of those that need to be heard and offering it in any way you can.
