I’m a white man of privilege. I know not of the plight black people and minorities have faced across history. Or that which they do today. I do not know what it’s like to be left handed in a right handed world. But, I believe if something is tolerated it has chance to set root,

to spread beyond it’s initial power. To infest.

In order to eradicate it, it must become intolerable on every level. At the Federal and State level creating laws that better protect human rights and equalities...then actually enforcing them.

On an interpersonal level, we all

need to open our eyes to the marginalizing that has infested society through 100s of years of tolerating racism, then collectively and continually chase out the roots that have spread.

We have to use this mechanism for good. To tolerate and promote equality and actively

institutionalize it. Let equality and acceptance set root by only tolerating actions that promote it. Let the perspective of humans as humans spread.

While I haven’t experienced the wrath of racism I do realize that until I am active against it, and what it’s existence has created, I am the problem also
