A few months ago I started significantly changing my #footballindex portfolio.
Last two days I've made more in dividends than I have so far YTD.
I've not won the lottery. I'm not a "great trader". Just more focused.
Just want to take you through a few tips as to how...

I think I saw @FbiTrader mention it a few days ago but measure your commission/dividend ratio.
The latter should outnumber the former.
I first looked at mine properly in Feb and was HORRIFIED that the two NEARLY MET.
So most of my dividends had gone straight back to FI...

Why's this?
Overtrading. Jumping from player to player on a whim.
So stop it. And this comes from asking yourself a number of questions;
Why are you buying this player?
Why now?
What's your valuation of them (ignore current buy price)?
What's your exit strategy?

Another part of this is understanding your limits.
You can't jump on every single opportunity. So pick your battles. Pick longer roads you'll stick to.

There are many ways to play #footballindex but dividends really, really are amazing things.
You don't need to spend a lot to win dividends...

Ignore the capital cost and instead think of % instead.
You can play CapAp, but having a part of your portfolio who can earn you additional income, however small, will only lead to more growth. And IT'S PASSIVE.
Less trading, less commission, more for you.
It's that simple
