It is hard to fully dramatize how bad all of this is for a narcissist like Trump. He looks weak. His attempts to look strong get leaked and lampooned. There are crowds outside his window.

Trump’s core is a molten lava of insecurity and self-loathing.

The only thing that keeps him from having to feel those feelings is the thin, fragile facade he presents to the world.

When it fractures, it’s like a reactor wall failing. All of that radioactive misery seeps out.

Add to this: Trump can’t go out and do his narcissistic fill-ups.

His handlers know/will know he’s melting down.

Virtually guarantee they, out of desperation, try to find some way to get him in front of a rally to keep him from imploding altogether.

So, pick a place where a friendly governor would roll out a phalanx of Nat Guard troops for effect. Somewhere very red with a male governor.

Florida, West Virginia or maybe Georgia.

I’d guess West Virginia.

A Trump rally in West Virginia scheduled within a week.

Trump is due to be at his club in Bedminster, NJ, this weekend.

Maybe a nutbag rally in West Virginia on the way.

His staff knows they have to shovel external affirmation into the gaping maw of his broken self esteem.

They gotta do something. A rally is the easiest out.
