If you feel the need to tweet about how you& #39;re going to stay quiet about BLM and the protests happening right now

1. You know it& #39;s wrong to stay quiet and
2. You& #39;re looking for other white people to tell you it& #39;s okay

I understand the desire to keep online spaces as an escape from life. That& #39;s how I usually use my twitter. Not because I don& #39;t care, but because it& #39;s how I save spoons.

But there comes a time when "real life" bleeds over into "online life" and this is one of those times.

If you& #39;re one of those folks who are wringing your hands and making caveats for why you& #39;re not vocally supporting the vulnerable in our communities during this time (and tbh, all the time), you should take a good, long look in the mirror and sort out your priorities.
