yall i hate how when u live in an asian household ur obligated to go to college, they’ll pull up the “if u dont go to college u wont get a proper job” card — honestly if my parents allowed me i would take the year off and go see placed before studying

we can all get jobs even without going to college lol, also tbh not everyone likes college + even if u take a year or smthn college is just there u can go anytime naman

but yeah, pls can filipino parents just understand na not everyone wants to go to college + stop thinking na college is a mandatory place to go to right after u graduate, stop forcing kids to go when they dont want to

but uh yeah kids, if you wanna go to college go!!! if you guys wanna take a break, go ahead!!! — theres nothing wrong with skipping a few years, college is just there it wont go anywhere, age is just a number u can go whenever u feel like it
