Lizzo said it best, “we know you’re not racist” but your complacency and indifference towards it because it doesn’t effect you the same way needs to stop. That’s why it’s been able to continue for so long. I understand the history behind your silence —
I’m aware that during times of slavery white people who stood up were deemed negro sympathizers and were hung up too and used as examples. It’s 2020 now. They can’t string us all up if we all agree time is up. There’s way too many of us. We’ve been letting the media fool us.
Our world isn’t as divided as they show. It’s way too many viral posts surrounding this issue to begin to tell yourself people aren’t waking tf up. Keep protesting. Keep speaking up. If you see something say something! Don’t be silent. Don’t let them put you in fear to STFU
They don’t fear the violence. They seek it for justification. What they really fear is the fact that it’s not just BLACK people showing up to speak out. They fear the unity finally forming against racism. That’s why they insert the violence and carnage all over the media
They want the people afraid to leave their homes and actually go to the protest to believe it’s not safe. They want you to think only animals go out to protest so you don’t join the cause and stay home watching what they show you. Look at the pictures people who are there post
See the positive unity displayed that the news will hide from you. It’s A LOT of love being formed to wash out this hate. Understand for those confused saying “this isn’t how you get justice for Floyd” it’s not, it’s how some react when you’ve received NO justice for hundreds
You feel upset behind personal property and don’t realize some of the people taking this form of retaliation may have lost a father, mother, brother, son, daughter, or best friend to police brutality. I’m not promoting destruction but I’m understanding of anyone fed up w/ peace—
We’ve tried many forms of peaceful protest that fell on deaf ears. We’ve been told to every form of peaceful protest this isn’t the way, any suggestions as to what is? NOPE 🤷🏾‍♂️
“what can non-black people do to help”

I understand the desire to step in and do something, but y’all coming to US asking what can you do to help shows the reality we’ve been saying for years

...it’s still viewed as our problem and not OUR problem! That’s the fucking problem!
If you see one and say all 🤷🏾‍♂️ you really ain’t no different than the mentality that’s getting us killed out here...

Everyone ain’t rioting/looting, that’s what you’re being shown so you feel promoted to say stop and talk people out of speaking up and push them back to silence...
If you feel this was negative and not a call towards forming something positive it’s because you are complacent, feel it’s not your problem and take it as if I’m calling you out...it is, you should, that’s good — you’re listening 🤙🏾💯 have a great day!
It’s sickening seeing people try to rewrite these peaceful protests under a democrat/republican agenda which is essentially creating the division to strip the power away
