If your only commentary of today’s current events is that riots are violent, we challenge you to examine the most ultimate form of violence, poverty. We challenge you to reflect on some of MLK’s more radical sentiments, “riots are the language of the unheard.”

While we do not condone the turn of events the protests have taken, we understand them. We are all experiencing a difficult time, some of us much more than others.

Now is the time to join in a collective fight against racism in this country...to finally achieve justice for the unheard, and quell the need for riots.
