honestly atp I think a lot of ppl need to refocus bc im seeing a lot of ppl talk more abt who is n isn't speaking up instead of using their platform no matter how small to speak up themselves

like I rly understand the holding ppl accountable, I rly understand wanting your faves and brands and influencers to speak up n it made me rly happy to see some of my faves speak up, but it's a .. Lot of focus on that n the discussion just not being productive anymore atp

It’s one thing to talk abt your personal feelings which is valid btw but I’m just seeing so much fandom talk and so much well my faves did this and your faves didn’t and like?? Since when is BLM a tool to keep scores?? Please use your time to spread stuff that helps

We don’t want this to be looked at as a trend that’ll end in a week. Continue sharing info and try to research how long lasting change can be made in your area, where to start and what you can do at your level. At the end of the day it’s the people doing the work.

And don’t let me see no nonblack people using my tweets to validate weak arguments like “people d1e every day” and “well why speak abt This and not That” bc I’m not siding w y’all either get the fck out my face
