People think of the lives of others too lightly.

People are so easily willing to throw the life of another away, all without putting much (if any) thought into it.

Each and every person is a human being. Each and every person has something important to them. A dream. A friend.
A family member. An interest. A hobby. A goal. Someone they love, something they love- the list goes on. Whatever it may be, every human being has something. Do you ever step outside, and for a minute, even a moment- feel the sun, the breeze on your skin, hear the birds and wind,
do you ever look away when you feel shy, fumble with something in your hands when you’re nervous, feel lonely or want to be alone, have you ever looked at someone and thought about how beautiful they are, have you ever looked at yourself and wanted to improve? You,
right there, are undeniably human. We all have little things that we do. Regardless of race, ethnicity, whatever about you it may be- we are all human beings. It doesn’t matter what color your skin is. You are a human being, and people need to get that.
And yet, people are willing to mindlessly throw it all away. Everything about you, everything that makes you human- people will disregard and assume that they can give you the ultimate and final punishment of death, whose grasp belongs to no one- yet people act as if it does.
It’s not okay. If people don’t learn to look at each other as human beings, things will never change. To look at each other as a member of our own family. We, as a whole, need to set aside our immature, selfish, mindless opinions of each other and realize that we’re all human.
No single person is better than another because of their race. No single person should be in athority over another because of the pigmentation of their skin.

We all have little things we do, little things about us- and THAT’S what shows that we are human. NOT our skin color.
When people realize this, that’s when they’ll start to realize how incredibly significant each and every person is.

Onto the next topic.

I know a lot of you out there are doing the whole “all lives matter” thing.

Yes, they do. But right now, that’s not what we’re focusing on.
We’re focusing on the people that have been oppressed and hurt and literally killed for the color of their skin. We’re focusing on one thing at a time. This is the important matter at hand. This is what the world needs to understand right now.
Getting rid of racism is a huge step towards people realising how important each life is. If you wanna talk about how all lives matter, then focus on the ones currently at the most risk. Focus on getting people to understand that they, too, are human, and are just like us.
Think back to what I said at the start of this thread- how we each have our own things that are important to us. Our own little things we do.

Black people have them too. They are JUST like us. They’re not aliens, they’re biologically the same as us. Human, forever and always.
Ever since I started history in school and first learned about the awful things that have happened (and do happen) to black people, I’ve felt sickened, disgusted, ashamed, awful. I can’t even begin to imagine how they feel. It saddens me so much more than I know how to explain.
It needs to end. It HAS to. Or this world will just continue to fall apart, especially in times like now when we need each other most.

If we can’t understand this... we’ll never grow as people. We’ll never move past these awful times. We’ll never heal. #BlackLivesMatter https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt="">
I understand that my knowledge on this all isn’t as vast as some, but I feel as if I know enough to understand that we all need to realize that we’re all human and what makes us human.

I’d feel awful if I didn’t say anything. I’d be doing the opposite of my goal as a creator.
I apologize for any errors and my potential lack of proper flow, I’ve never really been a writer, nor have I ever been good at explaining things. But I wanted to do my best to show people just how significant everyone’s lives are, and to show people we’re all the same.
I’ve not got really any sleep lately as I’ve been trying to think of the best way to explain this, the way that can help people most. Most of the past few of my days have just been me zoned out thinking, wondering how to get people to understand, how to help kindly.
I just want everyone to be happy. I just want our world to heal. Without those ideals, there would be no point in me being a content creator.

And most importantly, I want to be a good influence on people to help them have the same ideals.

I love all of you. Please, stay safe.
