first off, lemme give my introductory to my essay. avatar the last air bender ( #atla is how i’m going to be addressing it from now) is an american made episodic series thats spans over 3 season and has 5 main characters. Made in 2005 - it tackles many issues we see today.

They started the war on the concept of simply expanding the greatness of the fire nation to the other countries. (Where have we heard the words “great” and the idea of “simple helping or expanding american greatness to other countries”???

The show is entirely focuses on the war that is going on. The 100 year war. Aang and his rag tag of friends have to help aang learn all four elements before the end of summer where the whole world will be taken over by the fire lord.

The fire nation is entirely built up on this concept of pride and superiority compared to the other nations. Essentially it’s a dictatorship to which the people see no problem with. Well, 3 fire lords before Ozai, started this war.
