3. selling your soul.
this is obvious, you sell your soul to the devil and sign over your life to him in exchange for fame, money, status, reputation. once this happens, you have to make a sacrifice. now think about black magic, when a person performs black magic they have to--

give a sacrifice. its the same case. a few examples, bruno mars sacrificed his mother for fame, nicki minaj sacrificed her cousin. when somebody is newly famous keep an eye out on who dies be it their family member or friend, it is a sacrifice.

4. rituals.
