I don& #39;t usually post politics, just reply politics, but I& #39;ll make an excuse to say a few words stuck in my chest for a while.

We& #39;ve been seeing a division like no other in our society through the years. We& #39;ve been stimulated to hate those who don& #39;t think like our little bubbles and now we& #39;re bordering civil wars as tensions go up all over the globe.
We& #39;re talking in aggressive language, we& #39;re discussing primal emotions like fear, hate, scare, anguish. We& #39;re projecting feelings towards groups and labeling them enemies. We& #39;ve dehumanized people because they think differently.
We don& #39;t want to learn other schools of though. We don& #39;t want to reason and ponder. We want to be right. We want the world to be shaped so it pleases us and our little group.
We impose our preferences onto the other, so they have to abide to them so we don& #39;t feel bad about it. We& #39;ve became spoiled little brats that demand a lot, but can& #39;t take answers opposite to what we expect - or demand.
Our emotions are so fragile that we undertake the herculean task of bending the world to our will, shutting the ones who think differently, so there& #39;s no risk of being upset.
We& #39;ve lost our humanity, gave away all the uniqueness and individuality of being a 1 in more than 7 billion person to blend into a generic group, echo the voice of other with ideas you didn& #39;t think yourself.
We& #39;ve let seducing speeches of populism give us comfort to the emptiness in our souls, since we never really learned to be self-sufficient.
Through the history, humanity always left to others the responsibility to guide and steer their own life. Be it politics, religion, football or food. There& #39;s always someone there dictating how to think and act, what to like and who to relate with.
I am truly saddened by where we are at now. I have no hope in the future and a true and sincere hatred towards all those evil ideas that have poisoned our minds and will continue doing so over the ages.
I& #39;ll end with this sentiment and a quote, from Lysander Spooner, 1867: "And there is no difference, in principle - but only in degree - between political and chattel slavery.
The former, no less than the latter, denies a man& #39;s ownership of himself and the products of his labor; and asserts that other men may own him, and dispose of him and his property, for their uses, and at their pleasure."
I kindly ask you, don& #39;t reply if you& #39;re here to say ideology X is better than Y, president John Doe is evil/saint, or Lysander Spooner& #39;s quote has wrong genders or I should accept reality as it is. If you& #39;re willing to do so, you& #39;ve missed the point of this thread.
