I think we may have judged Judas a little to harshly. What if he really needed the money? What if his family's safety was threatened? What if the feds had something real serious on him? What if he really didn't have a choice?
What if they assured him they wouldn't hurt or kill Jesus? Which would kinda explain why he hung himself when he saw just how fucked up things had gotten. I dont think he meant for them to go that far.
