Our loudest voices of Buffalo DO NOT LIVE IN THE CITY.

They don’t live here!
They don’t live here!
They don’t live here!

Versus

The PEOPLE who DO live in Buffalo demonstrated like they are everywhere else because nobody is listening. https://twitter.com/bradleygelber/status/1267138133969289222
I can’t stress this enough how much urban voices are drowned out in order to maintain an image based of urban myths, web hoaxes but we gotta give the microphones to the loudest suburbanite of every metropolitan region. Handwringing over the idea the working class looting.
Everything you was taught about a riot is flat out WRONG! 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, wasn’t that long ago but due to our needs to whitewash recent history, we can’t wrap our brains around the idea, why is Black America so angry? Why is the working classes looting?
Buffalo is a city that will bend over backwards to ignore actual people that live here to give the mic to our loud mouth suburbanites. “Buffalo” is nothing more than a convenience. Suburban Buffalo seeks to maintain the stratification. That us doing ‘something’ in policy.
This is the same suburban Buffalo that re-elects an incompetent sheriff. Sheriffs department could care less about losing lawsuits, hence Suburban Buffalo aka the morally rotted taxpayer(s) doesn’t give a shit.

Judging by the nationwide protest — we are all living in Minnesota.
NYC has NYDN. The Times is national and the Post is UK style pro cop tabloid but NYC is city of over 9 million people. Rest of the nation barely reads newspapers. If they do, the audience including subscriptions comes from the suburbs. Your local media is talking AT the city.
There is a lot of isolated people in the suburbs just scrolling though social media, melting thier brains with foolishness. Who is getting on a bus during a global pandemic just to protest in another city? Come on Karen! This is the audience of your local media people.
Stay Over There Movement — there is plenty of people that seriously need to just “Stay Over There” and leave the city alone.

You Wasn’t There Declaration — but you managed to place yourself there with urban myths and innuendo.

Gentrification or Die style urban policy is dead!
Buffalo is a blue collar town but it really wished all that stuff goes away. Bread and circuses because that is what blue collar people like. Working 40 hours+ to buy that new Ryan Home somewhere in Hamburg. Ford in the driveway. That is definitely not us.

I’m from Buffalo!
