Hugely important that we in the UK recognise our historical complicity in the institutionalisation of racism. Also, so we're clear, I don't think we should be educating ourselves so we become 'enlightened' - certainly that, but you should also be incensed, FURIOUS at the injustice, and compelled to combat it and work for change.
