Good point by @mattedgar in recent weeks that just because "we've shifted to digital more in two months than we managed in years" might not (yet) mean any durable digital transformation has occured. The House of Commons is right now providing an excellent example.
Could we quickly set up select committees to use video conferencing? Yes. But now we're going back to blocking it because of traditions of power.
Could we get digital voting and a video conferenced parliament set up in a month? Yes. But now we'll revert to a 1km queue to vote.
Making the average attendee travel hundreds of miles from home so that they can spend hours queuing up for a kilometre around the corridors of a completely unsafe building... to own the libs.
