Good people are complaining about losing followers because of the topics of racism.

I for one believe it’s one of the best subjects to lose followers for.

These 👆 two paragraps are self-explanatory but if you’re interested what a simple Czech guy thinks about America, read on.
I grew up in a communist country. There were many bad things in the totalitarian regime I spent my childhood in but the comrades got one thing right: we were taught at schools that all people were equal.

The popular joke went that there were equal and “equaler” people but that
was in terms of political beliefs and related privileges or lack of them, not skin color.

We were taught that America was based on exploitation of people of color.

It was the 80’s and the word for a black person in the official dictionaries was “negro”, heroes of popular films
from Hollywood as well as British TV series were openly racists but there were popular exceptions like the Stanley Kramer’s ones with Sidney Poitier or Mississippi Burning with Gene Hackman.

Times have changed since then, right? Well, yes and no and that’s my point:

The stress
nowadays is given on superficial impressions, not the core. It’s the popular rhetoric that’s changed in the US, not so much the inward beliefs.

The racists have learned not to use the n-word in public and they’ve adopted phrases like “I have many black friends” plus a few other
tricks.

But if American people still weren’t racists, that blond clown would have never been voted for president, policemen wouldn’t deal with people of color inadequately and there wouldn’t have to be protests.

Actually, I don’t believe I’ll live long enough to see the white
Americans acknowledge “We have been allowing our racist society to go on for ages and now we’ll try doing our best to make up for the centuries of white supremacy in action.”

Respect to everyone fighting the good fight, I’m just saying that for us, the little boys and girls
growing up in socialist Czechoslovakia, you guys have changed a lot over the four decades, but still not radically enough so that we would stop believing what we had been taught about that evil capitalist continent exploiting black people.

And if the touchy topics of racism –
– *your* racism, even if not yours individually – is unpleasant and makes some of you so uncomfortable that you’re burning bridges with guys taking their stance, you only prove that our (the stupid little boys and girls brainwashed by bolsheviks) biased opinion of you is correct.
