Tonight at DC’s #GeorgeFloydProtest, protesters set a bonfire as well as a fire in Lafayette Park’s bathroom.

Police aggressively pushed protesters away and northbound to allow firefighters through.

Protesters then set fire to the first floor of the AFL-CIO, and two cars next to the building, only two blocks from the White House.

The protesters managed to flip a third car onto its side.

Police used flashbangs to deter the crowd westward.

Police fired rubber bullets as protesters shot fireworks at them.

Protesters, some kneeling, attempted to put their hands up. Police continued to use flash grenades and tear gas against them, pushing them into D.C.’s Farragut Square.

Beginning at Farragut Square, at least six businesses including a bank were broken into and looted until police charged at the crowd.
