NOTE: Yes we join giveaways with the intention to grow following and spread more valuable content. A number of times we pay an amount for contribution, sometimes we don& #39;t. The intention is not to waste money but —
To help out small businesses who sponsor and are part of the giveaway. I do this for my shop as well — more followers, greater reach, greater selling opportunity. It& #39;s basic marketing bitch.
To spread good vibes by giving out prizes to some lucky winners. The logic is simple, if they choose to join then they get a chance. It& #39;s not as if we "forced" them to follow and join.
Stop saying we could have used our money to donate because to be honest, some people have already done so much and are still doing more and they don& #39;t have to post everything on social media.
Side note: One of the giveaway promos I& #39;ve joined @giveawaycollabs donated some of the proceeds to NGOs and other charitable institutions (yup, we have receipts).

Lastly, not all nice things are scam girl.
Before you tell everybody it& #39;s a freakin& #39; scam, I suggest you verify your data first. Did you even check who the organizers are? Did you try verifying the contest itself?
Yes this year has been all crazy and don& #39;t make it more toxic by throwing negativities around. Use your voice to make a stand and not to slap what seems to be a good marketing strategy.
Take that from a marketing prof. Or better yet, make your page relevant by putting content that matters more than some cute selfies. It& #39;s nice to be nice, yes? https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😉" title="Winking face" aria-label="Emoji: Winking face">
