Thread on " #RemoveChinaApps".

1. So one of my friend sent this video of an "influencer" explaining How China's biggest weapon is economy and how we can stop that.

And I watched the video.
2. The thing about these influencers are that they put up half baked truth, overload the viewers with data with overwhelming body language(shaking head and hands vigorously). IDK why!

They want us to uninstall Chinese apps and boycott Chinese products.
3. There are some facts in that video & I agree with few of them. But what these influencers do is, they persuade common man/woman to do such stuff, make them feel important and that they're helping the govt which in fact has zero/very little impact.
4. And while they're at it, they've successfully deviated you from questioning the govt.

These are diversion tactics used by "influencers" who are paid by the party in power for doing so viz., BJP!
5. These issues have to be dealt by bureaucracy and diplomacy. If they really want us not to use Chinese products, Govt of India will stop the import of these products. If they really want to shun China, they would have done that long time ago.
6. Last year in October, Chinese Prez Xi Jinping visited India. You wouldn't invite someone to your place to shun them finally? You don't make trade deals with them to shun them finally?

Why would Modi go for a jolly round with Xi if he wanted to shun him?
7. In 2018 India’s imports from China grew by 12.89% to US$ 76.87 billion while the trade deficit widened to $ 58.04 billion. If you want to stop us from using "Chinese products", why did Modi have a talk with Xi Jinping in October last year?
8. Imports/Exports are usually dealt in treaties or trade deal. So whatever we do by "boycotting" Chinese apps/products will have zero/very minimal impact unless Govt of India - Modi acts on it.

Until then shut the F about it.
9. In July 2018 Bank of China (BoC) received the banking license from RBI. Recently, ICBC has applied for its second branch in New Delhi, which is under consideration with the Department of Financial Services.

Seriously?
10. In a nutshell, stop listening to these "influencers" who just get paid from BJP for diverting you from actual issues and questioning the govt on the nearly-dead economy.
