if you guys want to know why i think bighit did the right thing by coming forward with a statement, this thread explains the issue far better than i ever could.
they're very neutral and respectful about it, and they actually looked deeply into 🐱's lyrics so give it a chance. https://twitter.com/killuacores/status/1266775074050375682
i found this thread last night, and it actually explains everything with details.
i hope that some armys that are saying "you restrain him from his artistic freedom" also know that some BLACK armys actually felt uncomfortable with the sample and that's totally valid.
some of you are also the very same people who've been supporting the blm movement since day 1, but the minute actual black people spoke up about it, you silence them. i'm not even talking about the haters, but actual armys that support the boys.
like, why is that?
you guys have been so advocate and supportive to black community so they can speak themselves but this is what you're doing rn? okay.
educating and emailing and trying to contain the situation is throwing 🐱 under the bus? okay.
i think i will start thinking with that dumb mind of yours just so i can live a carefree life without having to be respectful to other people from other races with different histories and cultures.
to end this thread, i just want to say:
if you don't have a problem with that sample, it's okay.
if you do have a problem, it's okay.

what's not okay is silencing and blaming e/o and trying to put words in 🐱's mouth like some armys have done yesterday.
