Ok anyone who knows me knows im strike ethnographer, I love strikes, labor process, point of production and reproduction for pay, obsessive organization babe, too
But let’s be really fucking clear
Riots have historically advanced “a concrete agenda.” Its the only thing that ever has, if we’re talking about reforms under capitalism, sometimes but not always in conjunction with massive strikes
And Black Lives Matter IS a concrete agenda. STOP KILLING BLACK PEOPLE is s concrete agenda. Nothing could be more concrete.
I would like someone, any socialist especially, who believes riots are a tantrum or a waste to show me a major reform under capitalism that took place without riots/strikes immediately preceding it, any concrete agenda advanced without them
Please go ahead.
And in USA history, any where that upsurge wasn’t lead by Black working class people fighting for their lives to matter.
I’ll wait, because I’m tired of seeing fake-knowing condescending shit about this posing as marxism.
