I love bts with all my heart and I'm still gonna support them but im ngl to y'all them not speaking up about what's happening rn is rly disappointing especially since black people influence a lot of their music, dance, clothing etc.(tho y'all hate to admit it)we cant use excuses-

like "tHey dOnt kNow" because they know. Anybody who has social media rn knows and America isn't the only place where these protests are happening it's everywhere so them not being from America is not a valid reason & SOOO many other kpop artists and celebrities they follow have-

also posted/donated/ even participated in the protest and some of these are even people they're friends with. and im pretty sure if they can see and rt Halsey and Max's posts when they're working on music w them then ik they can also see all the tweets they're posting about blm-

so THEY KNOW. we also can't use the exuse that bighit won't allow them because they've tweeted about other "American" issues before this like the shooting in Las Vegas. And bts always say how greatful they are for the freedom bighit gives them compared to other companies-

to do what they want. so if they TRULY wanted to post something and were passionate about it they would've already.

by them doing this it is just enabling people's mentality that if you haven't been effected by it personally then it doesn't matter and you can see it all throughout k-army's comments on weverse telling us to stop posting about it bc bts don't care, -

calling us the n word when we do post, and people on twt unfollowing us to have a more *positive* tl

and yes ik it's not bts's job to monitor what they're saying and make sure everyone gets along BUT bts do have a huge influence on alot of us and have the power to make people think about their actions and change that type of "it's not me so idc" mentality that's VERY prevalent-
