Tips for protesting in Baltimore:

1. Fill out an Arrest Support Form in advance. Make sure you leave a physical copy with someone you trust who is not going to the protest. https://bit.ly/3dkGngt
2. Memorize the Jail Support Number and write it on your arm/body

443-814-9160
3. Secure your tech.

Best bet is to leave your phone at home if you can or bring a burner.

If that's not an option, bring back up battery, disable fingerprint/face ID, and turn off all location tracking.

4. Have a plan & be prepared.

Have a buddy and plan & place to meet up if separated.

Bring water, an energy bar, notepad and pen (to write down police officers' names & badge info), and your essential meds in case you are arrested.
5. People are more important than property.

Keep protestors and bystanders safe.
6. White folks - follow the lead and amplify the voices of BIPOC.
