so the government in honduras is trying to pass/approve (idk how to say it??) a new penal code in the next few weeks and everything in it is absolutely DISGUSTING

so guess what? now getting an abortion is gonna cost a woman 3-6 YEARS in prison, while domestic abuse (against a woman bc apparently against men isn’t the same??) will take 1-4 years... how the Fuck does this makes any sense??

PROTESTING.... which is freedom of speech right?? will apparently get you 20 YEARS in prison.

jail time for a rapist will be 9-13 years but raping a minor 15-20 years??? and it’s all BULLSHIT because there have been so many rape cases lately and nothing has been done

now this is where it gets weird... cyber pedophilia
if an adult proposed to a child younger than 14 to be part of sexual activity, they are charged with 1-3 years in prison

if an adult approaches a child younger than 14 through intimidation with sexual means, 2-4 years in prison

and also?? jail time (for the one i wrote in the first paragraph, therefore 1-3 years) should be reduced by 1/4 if the adult reached out ONLY for pornographic pictures/videos in which the minor appears in ????

jail time for a man who commits a femicide will be 15 years in prison, which is ??? bc apparently it was REDUCED.

also talking badly about the government on social media can get you arrested now? as well so if i suddenly disappeared y’all know what happened

there’s many other things being applied that i didn’t mention but having the freedom to speak up is getting taken away from us. a government that will punish us more for speaking up against corruption over fucking PEDOPHILES AND RAPISTS is just outrageous.

and they’re taking advantage of our situation????we’re currently under curfew due to the pandemic, obviously no one can go out to protest against this because they’ll get you arrested for not respecting the curfew. these people are PIGS.
