@DineshKarthik played his first Int'l match in Lords 2004 against Eng as a 19 yr old kid.
It was a 3 match series, and India had already lost 2 games. In the 3rd, India squandered Ganguly's well made 90, and from 141-4, we were bowled out for 201.

Eng started badly as left armers Nehra and Pathan ripped through the top order and soon Eng found themselves hanging by a thread at a score of 5/48.
To Eng's relief though, Capt. @MichaelVaughan was still batting and along with Giles, he stitched a 92 run stand.

However, at the score of 154, Giles was first caught brilliantly by Bhajji of his own bowling and to put the final nail on the coffin. @DineshKarthik involved with Bhajji to create one of the best stumping dismissals

@DineshKarthik played as an opener in tests for the first time in SA. A place that is nightmare for most openers, he scored 63.

Stitching a partnership with @WasimJaffer14 (116) off 153. He followed this with a 100 in Bangladesh and then in @ECB_cricket test series, @DineshKarthik was class apart. He scored 263 runs at an avg of 43 with 3 fighting 50s, 3rd highest run getter in the series, top for Ind.

He is 5th in list of Indian openers in terms of batting avg in England. Above him are greats like R Dravid, Shastri, Mankad, and Merchant sahab.
