This group was trying to evade arrest. Some of their friends were just cordoned off and arrested. They escaped.

Cop cars barred both ends of the road, there was one way out under a bridge and through a housing estate. They took it and kept running, trying to stay together.

They ran hard.
Sorry it's the wrong way round. I was running too.
I'm on a work visa so if I get arrested I get kicked out the country.

They emerge onto Olympic, still running.
As they do, cop cars are coming up behind them on the same road. There's nowhere to run as they're up against a wall.
They know they're screwed and so some start putting their hands up and slow to a walk

Cops tell them hands up against the wall. Luckily for me and @chrismatography we've got press badges and even luckier, these cops respect them. We're told 'media, get out!'

Cops get out zip ties to cuff them.
The blonde girl closest is crying. She's from out of town, just got here today. Thought curfew was 8pm.
They've called for the bus to come pick them up.
Her phone is on the ground, she's not allowed to pick it up.
She mouths at us to help her
