Chief Brian Manley will be on a call shortly with different Austin news outlets.
Manley says he does not have the total count on arrests over the last few days. He says the charges include rioting behavior, assaults, and thieving/graffiti

He says some APD officers have been injured--says injuries are minor. Says officers have been hit with bottles, etc. One officer had to receive stitches.
"This is unprecedented," says @Chief_Manley. "There is only so much preparation you can do." He says they are doing everything they can do to give space to people who want to speak their mind.
"We all realize we have to work together."
He says law enforcement partners have stepped up to help: DPS troopers and TCSO deputies.

"I am speaking multiple times throughout the day with the manager and the mayor," Manley says he's spoken with somecouncil members, as well.
