For all you people saying "fuck all cops" "ACAB" and all this other nonsense, I don't ever want to hear/see you call 911 for anything. You can not generalize all cops by the actions of some. Does there need to be a police reform? Yes, there's been a need for one for a long time.
But just like everything, there are people who abuse their powers and others who really do try to do their jobs which is to SERVE and PROTECT. To make an assumption of a group of people because of the actions of some is a disservice.
It goes both ways though. All protesters aren't looting so why not have the same energy towards cops? Hypocrisy at its finest.
Now, with that being said, I am in no way justifying the actions of the cop who blatantly murdered George Floyd in broad daylight whatsoever and I understand the frustration of the black community.
Now more than ever is when we need to stand side by side our black brothers and sisters and let our voices be heard and put a stop to this blatant racism that's been going on for so long. How many more innocent black people have to be killed for there to be change? Sickening.
