That KPIs point is particularly important.

Chaotic, scattershot rioting doesn't actually achieve anything. Who have you intimidated into compliance? What strategic resource have you taken from your enemies? What operational capacity of your enemy have you disrupted?

Brownshirts didn't just tear up cities for fun. They specifically targeted Communist gatherings and rallies and made it impossible for them to political coordinate and organize. The Bolsheviks didn't just loot random stores. They captured military depots and power stations

Part of why I am hesitant to give my approval to these riots is specifically *because* they do not cow or destabilize the Washington Regime to any great extent. They could and that would be good... but they're just blind, reckless stupidity at the moment

Cathartic bloodlust, going Joker mode, helps no one and is frankly juvenile and scummy. If you don't have an actual material goal - weaken the state by hitting the power lines, intimidate the governor into conceding to demand X - you're just hurting innocent people.

Political violence needs to have a political *purpose*.

A material goal that can be broken down into smaller subgoals and even bite sized microgoals below that. That's why it only works with discipline and regimentation and why only Auths or military are any good at it

Look at how many calls there are for police militarization and martial law now - that is, a solidification of Washington's power - because of these idiots hauling off and doing barbaric, needless bullshit

Burning down City Hall might fuel you with moral righteousness and cathartic feelz but it in no way, shape or form weakens the operational capacity of the regime. You're spilling blood for feelz. Throwing your guys away for nothing. Save it for your victory parade

Let's say, on the other hand, that you spill that blood taking out the water supply. Water stops flowing. Toilets stop flushing. Sewerage stops sweeping out to sea or treatment plants. The city is going to be ungovernable anarchy within a day.
