There have been at least four instances that we know of where peaceful protesters have been attacked with lethal weapons by MAGA outsiders

In every instance, the crowd used the least violent methods to subdue them, and in every instance the attackers left alive, not under arrest

To say I am EXTREMELY impressed with the protesters is an understatement.

A group, a crowd...easily, so easily, unbelievably easily, turns into a mob with the tiniest spark.

That's what we're seeing cops constantly trying to provoke.

Did a mob tear them apart?

No.

Even after one lady is specifically stabbing black people, another man is pointing a goddamned hunting bow with nocked arrow at people, another has a motherfucking sword, and a bastard with a tanker truck attempting mass murder

Did a mob tear them to shreds?

Nope.

All alive.

It's clear to anyone who the violent people are, and who the violent people are not.

Who's shooting at the press.

Who's aggroing the crowd

Who's starting the riot at autozone umbrella man who sure as shit looks like a cop

These are peaceful protests against this violence.

And I look around the world, where people are gathering outside US Embassies in support.

And I know THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING

And they see, what I see, what you see, what we all see.

And while Trump cravenly cowards in the White House bunker against the righteous outcry of the people, while he attempts to solidify an authoritarian regime by declaring antifa TERRORISTS, while allying himself with Nazis, and white nationalists, these cosplaying fuckshits

have ALREADY killed at least one protester. I saw someone I know...someone I FUCKING KNOW...condemning a racist cousin who murdered a protester last night.

Someone. I. know.

And she is suffering too, and condemned it without reservation.

And they will kill again tonight.

And eventually the peaceful crowd will not be peaceful.

None of what I'm saying is astonishingly predictive. It's history. It's fact. It's what happens when voices go unheard, when atrocities go unaddressed, when the wound FESTERS.

But it's also a perfect storm clusterfuck

Of the worst possible POTUS, his evil cultists, blah blah blah, pandemic, blah blah blah, foreign interference, state media, attacks on free press, racist structures, white nationalism....

there has been peace beyond reason, beyond measure. I hope to fuck it continues and

we find ways to change to push back, and despite lethal attacks, using the least violent methods of protection etc etc etc

But when...if...it blows? It's because you can only put so much pressure on ANYTHING. And again, we all see what all that pressure is, and where its from

And what's DIFFERENT this time? Beyond the perfect storm of clusterfuck conditions?

I see a lot of comfortable white people who have woken the fuck up. And that's new.

Maybe it's due to the prevalence of video evidence. Maybe it's due to social media. Maybe it's due to Trump being a stupid racist who screams the quiet parts real loud and emboldened his racist base to often do the same, exposing it to centrists in ways that were undeniable.

Maybe it's all those things and other things, I don't know. Maybe it's exposure to Black voices that aren't controlled by the power structures, I know *I* was exposed to a lot of truth I never learned in a classroom.

I don't know, but...it feels different. And I hope.
