Also—yes the police are likely to be less brutal to whites than to Black people, and maneuvering with that notion in mind is wise. But the cops are a hard-right fighting force who embody the state’s repressive monopoly on violence, and have been fucking EVERYONE up REALLY bad!!

This is what rupture does. And this kind of rupture is exactly what states reflexively repress. The state whacks anything that moves, and is unlikely to appreciate your delicately calibrated understanding of the word “protest”
