What is currently undergoing in our Republic is filled with great sadness no doubt. I feel sorry for the family of Mr. Floyd and I hope they get to see the justice that needs to be served. Though, I denounce the rioting, the looting, the pillaging and destruction that is taking
place in our cities. These actions are a disgrace to actual activism and a great disrespect to those who care. This violence, such destruction is divirgent from the pathway to change. Use your voice, your mind, your intellect.
People want to hear your cause but you vilify and pollute your own message with the flames and smoke rising from the ashes of homes, of businesses, of the innocent.
Race means nothing. A man murdered another man, a story humanity knows all too well. The details, irrelevant. They do nothing but dilute from the actual tragedy and give way to fueled, divisive speech when in all reality, the only thing that matters is that a man died.
Regardless of his appearance, his skin color, makes it no more tragic, his murderers skin color, makes it no more terrible. As a society we must stop this maddening thought that race separates us.
The only thing that separates us is our self-created delusion that color somehow makes us different. Evil exist and will always continue to persist regardless of race, regardless of ethnicity, it will always manifest in people. What happened on that street was truely evil.
The man responsible should be prosecuted and punished to the fullest extent of the law.
I support the protesting, I support using your voice. Don’t drown out the sound of Freedom with the noise of chaos. Speak, march, demonstrate, use your voice. Vote, the ballot is strong than the bullet. And if all else fails, revolt.
However, don’t bring about the demolition of cities because one man committed a heinous act. Revolution is reserved for tyrannical government. Bring forth real change, lasting change. Ransacking establishments is no way to change anything.
Using all of the tools available to you as a free citizen is the best way to enact change.
What happened in the past is over, nothing can ever be done to change what has occurred. As a People, we must look to building our future, one where we stand united as Americans, no hyphens standing in between you and that title, just American.
We must judge the individual person on the merit of their character and heart and realize that we’re not so different after all. We all breathe, we all bleed, and we all die.
At the end of the day, we’re all People, we’re all American, and #AllLivesMatter
