Perhaps surprisingly, in the 50 largest US cities there is no correlation between rates of violent crime & police killings.
Suggests it& #39;s primarily a cultural issue.

People were right that this graph should be a scatterplot so I used WebPlotDigitizer to make one myself.
Shows there is indeed no relationship between & #39;Violent crime rates& #39; and & #39;Rates of killings by police& #39; across the 50 largest US cities, 2013-2018.
