y’all like books right? and “systems thinking”?

there is lots written about this topic, and if you’re new to it, now is a great time to dive in. oh and yes lots of facts and numbers, too. may not be cited yet by your usual suspects, but that’s part of the problem! https://twitter.com/sliminality/status/1267228511233667072
this whole thread ^^^
shifts in worldview take a while for the “mainstream” to accept. maybe you feel bad for Galileo or Georg Cantor, and this might seem different to you. but understanding systemic inequality is a shift in worldview. you can do your part & not remain a complacent part of the problem
the reason this shit bugs me so much is not because i’m some sort of bleeding heart whatever. it’s actually because these systems, systems that are like a badly designed game of chutes and ladders where some people only get chutes, are fundamentally stupid.
“stupid” is shorthand for many more specific words, like “unsustainable” “short-sighted” etc, i’m tired
also to those of you in the very small elite crowd around technology R&D, with 💛
