based on my retweets, it should be pretty clear where i stand on things, but if it hasn't been, (a) fuck cops, (b) it's ridiculous folks are more upset about protests than murders, (c) cops and white folks have been the ones getting violent, and (d) shit *needs* to be burned.

i've seen the some folks point out that the language shouldn't be "riots", and i agree. we have to ask, *who* is rioting? why are these perceived as riots, but when armed white men storm capitol buildings for not being able to go to the beach, those aren't called riots?

i won't be sharing any of the videos of "good guy cops" that have been circulating. great, there are some cops who might be cool. but don't get it twisted, they're here to uphold the status quo. they aren't here to dismantle these systems or support in direct action.
