The world lost one of the most daring and fearless leaders in healthcare yesterday. Viewed as one of the founders of the patient experience movement, from a hospital bed @mjseres built @11HealthandTech, a company that would “hack” the antiquated ostomy experience. 1/6

Resolute in his conviction that all patient voices should be included in healthcare design and decisions impacting their care, he opened the flood gate for other brave patients around the globe to speak up and lead change in true partnership with healthcare system leaders. 2/6

He was my hope that technology could actually bring humanity and dignity back to the bedside. He’s doing that now with @11HealthandTech and he will continue to inspire other technology entrepreneurs to do the same. 4/6

I viewed myself as his #1 fan, but I know I stand beside thousands who share that title. His wicked humor and loyalty to friends and family shored me up on days where I had little hope that we could change healthcare for the better. He was a life enricher. 5/6
