Although looting has now started in Bellevue, what I saw and filmed (with my 3 young kids) earlier today was peaceful. Police rode in on bikes and cars, and teargas cannons went off so we left.

We chatted politely with the supportive mayor of Bellevue, and also a nice lady who had immigrated from Libya and was excited to march to exercise her rights.

So sad to see this turn to violence and chaos. You cannot put out darkness with darkness. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. - MLK + Gandhi
