I’m stuck in my car in a parking garage in downtown Fort Lauderdale. I almost got hit by a tear gas device and the explosions keep getting louder and louder.

They are still going on. Huge explosions. Green smoke in the air. I can’t see what’s happening since I’m stuck on the 2nd floor of the garage. It does not sound good.

Still here. More loud explosions, I hear folks getting pepper sprayed. It was a PEACEFUL protest.

I’m praying everyone downstairs is good. I still hear chants so I assume they’re holding it down.

They literally threw it at me on the second floor of the garage.

Not getting out of my car and risking getting gassed by them right near me and can’t leave the garage bc I hear it’s blocked downstairs. Chanting still downstairs. Haven’t heard a tear gas go off in like 10 min.
