it literally blows my mind that so many people/mutuals are believing "ALL COPS ARE MENTALLY ILL" when there is literally ZERO evidence supporting this claim. so ignorant and dangerous to reduce the role of RACISM in police brutality, while also stigmatizing mental illness. facts:

1) "just 3-5% of all violence was due to mental illness alone". are many factors incl RACISM
2) mental health "stressors" is NOT the same as mental illness. mental wellness =/= mental illness
3) HAVING A MENTAL ILLNESS IS NOT A PRECURSOR TO COMMITTING VIOLENCE OR LACKING EMPATHY
