fun fact: the "sight" on his gun is an EOTech EXPS 3 which costs approx $550-650. that's enough to supply school lunches for 1.45 children for the school year. Why do P0I1c3 need high end optics when children are starving? Also note over 40M ppl are unemployed. https://twitter.com/thundercat/status/1267182520665124865
Also this was just a quick observation I made watching this video. And the point is that it is ONE piece of gear that is NOT at all necessary to do his job. This is also paid for by us, the taxpayers. Children starve because their parents cannot afford the inflated costs of
School lunches. Yet p***** are getting expensive gear that just further mllltarizes itself. It's vile.
the firearm he is holding is an HK MP5 (duh) which is NOT a civilian legal firearm. The civilian legal variant is the HK SP5, it retails for $2,500-3,000. That is enough to feed 5.8 children for a school year. https://twitter.com/zackbornstein/status/1267141940547469312
In addition to the firearm; the optic he has is an Aimpoint T-2 which is $782 MSRP. Enough to feed 1.5 children for the entire school year.
Don't forget, this is all coming out of our wallets. A red dot is not necessary equipment whatsoever.
I thought this was relevant to previous statements in the thread. This is absolutely vile. They are using every weapon possible to suppress our voice. Sadly for them, it will only make our voices louder. Much louder. https://twitter.com/naderdissa/status/1267297605601673216
Now I couldn't make it out completely but the looks like a Penn Arms P540-1. It's $3,336 MSRP. This single launcher, costs the equivalent of rent + food for [on average] a family of 4 for 1.77 months. This is also 2.78 stimulus checks.
I know this comparison isn't necessarily super helpful but the point is this is a tool being used to suppress our Constitutional rights rather than help feed a family in need.

To keep with the trend, this could also feed 6.5 students for an entire school year.
On another note, police DO NOT need to have AR/M4 variants at their disposal. The majority of departments use standard 16" barrels making them practically inoperable in close quarters operation. With proper training, a pistol is much more effective and efficient at the ranges
that p*l*ce operate in. They don't need weapons capable of firing distances of 500m ESPECIALLY in a city where collateral damage can easily occur if a firefight does happen to break out.
Okay we are talking about AR/M4s I can't make out the exact make/model so I'll generalize. The one on the right is an SBR (Short barrel rifle) which averages $1200-1600/unit. The supressor looks like a Surefire SOCOM556 which is $1100-1400. the optic is an Aimpoint Patrol Pro
Which costs $445. The flashlight is a Surefire M600V which is $450 (with pressure pad. This is a total of : ~$3200 on the low end. This excludes: upgraded-trigger, mag release, any mounting systems. For ONE SINGLE rifle.
This also excludes the $2000+ of permits it would take for a civilian variant of an SBR + supressor. If a civilian owned this rifle it would cost north of $5000. But anyway, to keep it simple $3200. This could feed 6 children for an entire school year.
Militarization of the p*l*c* is more important than feeding underprivileged and low income children.

Also note: his plate carrier costs + AR500 plates north of $600.
And important note: using proper TACTICS, a p*l*c* f0rc3 could properly combat against any attack and all attacks using base AR/M4 Platforms I.e stock rifle, simple flip up sights & a service pistol (usually Glock 17 or Sig P320).
But this isn't an attack. It's a protest. A Constitutional Right. And they are equipped to this extent. This IS ABSOLUTELY excessive in ANY and ALL domestic scenarios.
Also note: this is higher quality equipment than the average infrantryman will carry. This is the same gear you would see Navy SEALS (for example) carry.
