A few comments disagreeing that my agreeing here is a bad take. I can simultaneously be:
(1) Acutely aware of systemic racism in our society and policing and believe this needs to fundamentally change for a more just society.

(2) Outraged at the illegal & corrupt behavior by some police and police forces we've witnessed over the last few days in video clips

(3) Be grateful and respectful of law enforcement officers who serve & protect ALL of their citizens fairly.

My retweet was mostly agreeing with @AliVelshi's expression of (3), but I believe (1), (2), and (3), not just (3).

You're welcome to disagree with my stance, of course.

And I will take the feedback that many believe now is not the time to express support for people who are respectful of all citizens.
