Apple Store in downtown Spokane currently being boarded up. It’s the only store I walked by that is doing so in the downtown area. #GeorgeFloyd protest just getting underway a few streets away.

Across the street from the Big Red Wagon, several protestors are starting to form in front of a line of Spokane PD officers. Chants of “ #ICantBreathe .

Things have taken a very dark turn here in downtown Spokane. Nike store broken into. My photographer and I just got hit with tear gas. This is a complete 180 of the peaceful protests taking place a couple hours ago.
