i wanna talk about some cases that shows how the cops abuse of their power that happened in my country, probably not a lot of ppl will see it but if only helps that ONE person gets to know what happens here, i'll be satisfied
TW: m*urder and racism
In 2014 in argentina a group of kids that were Wichis (natives from argentina) were just sitting in a park when the police started shooting at them, for no reason. They injured 3 kids, Nazareno was the one that got the worst. (+)
They broke his knee, he was in a super bad condition just like the hospital. He was confused and didnt knew why he was attacked. His family tried to go to the authorities but the police just didnt accepted the report. Why did he got attacked? Bc he was native, and poor
In 2019 a cop attacked 2 immigrants from Senegal in argentina with pepper spray. The reason? "THEY COULDNT WALK THERE" (a public area)
This one has been so shared lately but i wanted to talk about it too in case you didnt see it. He was Luis Espinoza, a rural worker. Police mur*dered him from his back, but the cause said he was "Missing". His body was found under a cliff days later bc they threw him there
Matias died when he was on his way to school, he was walking on the side of the road when a police officer that was out of service shot him from his back bc he thought Matias stole a bycicle.
Facundo died when he was in a motorcycle with his friend. The police started to follow and shot at them bc they looked "suspicious". They shooted his neck, he was 12 years old
Santiago was protesting for the rights of the natives when he got missed and after 77 days he was found on a river. All this time the police knew where he was, they said they were "looking" for him, but they where the ones that killed him. "No one is guilty for his death"
5 teens were having a car ride, the police started to follow them, again bc they looked "suspicious", and started to point at them with a gun. The guys got scared and tried to run away but got into a crash. 4 of them d.ied
Marcos was going back to his house after work when the police made him get into the car. They took him to a field where they tortu*red him and punched him, when Marcos tried to scape they shot him from his back. According to the cops "he commited a robbery"
Claudio just got into HIS OWN motorcycle to get his employee to take the bus. The motorcycle stopped and the alarm went off, the police shot his neck because they tought the motorcycle was stealed
A cop shooted against a 17 years old boy at least 3 times, the last one was when he was already on the floor. On his own words: "Let him die like a rat"
Fabian was kidnapped by a cop because he was dating with his ex girlfriend. He took him to the police station and with 5 more cops, t*ortured him
Mor Tallar Sar was attacked for all those cops we see in the picture, he's an immigrant from senegal that works selling things on the streets
The police kicked a guy who was working selling SANDWICHS on the streets. SANDWICHS.
(Of course, they took his sandwichs away)
This is a case of torture against another guy that works selling things in the streets. He defended his friend of the cops, they took him, punched him and BURNED his hands with a griddle
This happened in Villa Lugano, 3 cops under the efect of drugs went there and started shooting at everyone. Camila (pregnant) just went outside of her house to see what was happening. The cops entered to her house and started shooting, her and her boyfriend tried to run (+)
But they shooted from her back. The cop, when he saw she was on the floor KICKED her head.
And like this, there are thousands of cases that we cant get to see. I made this to show that racism is everywhere and it costs lives of innocent people just like everyone i named
All of this people were murdered for the police hands. Just because they were poor, and dark skinned. That made them "suspicious", "robbers", and that was their crime, to be born under a system that doesnt value you if you have dark skin
(Pic cred: identidadmarron on ig)
We can't keep quiet any longer. No more. We have to stand up for them, for everyone that's not here anymore and to save the ones that are still here but we dont know for how long.
