A primer:

1. Jesus wasn’t an anti-Roman rebel.
2. Jesus wasn’t executed for stirring up rebellion against the Romans.
3. The Romans didn’t even want to execute Him; Pilate found no wrong in Jesus.
4. Jesus was against the corrupt Pharisees; they are the ones who had him killed.

5. When Jesus said “render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s,” it was DISMISSIVE of political concerns. HE DIDN’T CARE. His concern was rendering unto God what was God’s.

6. Jesus wouldn’t have supported ANY of our stupid political movements had he been born in the late 20th/early 21st century.

7. The same people who boo God are now playing the “no true Scotsman!” card when it comes to Christianity because they think you are stupid.

Don’t be stupid.

8. Better yet, agree and amplify. Tell them, “Oh, you want a theocracy too! Awesome, brother! Praise the Lord!”
