it’s SO refreshing to see privileged white kids i went to middle/high school with FINALLY acknowledging their privilege and using it to speak out and educate others on what BLM is. it’s so important for us as white folk to SPEAK OUT and stand behind black folk of our community
i hope that we can all push other kids to acknowledge this and educate their family and friends! i’m going to gather some resources below this tweet if you want to read/donate/sign!
okay so a few things i personally think we can do, as white people, to do our part:
like i said -speaking out! speakingout against systemic racism is where you can begin. having these conversations with your racist families, or members of your community
-reading, educating our-
-selves
-donating to BLM orgs/bail/other links i’ll post below
-signing petitions that MATTER
-buying/supporting black artists/business
