I apologize for my silence on here the last few days. I’ve been actively tweeting on another account where I have a larger platform and a bigger reach. I am distraught by the injustice we’ve seen in the last few days. White silence and complacency is to side with the oppressor.

I’ve been following protests in New Haven and across the country. If, like me, you are unable to go out and protest, please donate, sign petitions, & do not stay silent. Don’t lean on your black friends and ask them what you can do to support them. There are resources out there.

Educate yourselves, and remember, especially with Pride Month starting tomorrow, that beint anti-racist is not a trend and does not begin and end with one sole event. This is ongoing. #BlackLivesMatter now and always.
