What grade were you when you had your first black teacher?
Pretty sure mine was college. I only even remember seeing maybe a literal handful of black teachers all the way through high school.
Thanks everyone. It& #39;s mostly MTG and gaming, but I do interview game stores, talk about small business, and do the occasional product/service review.
Also, I wasn& #39;t expect this to blow up. But feel free to please support my podcast and my youtube channels if you want to support my efforts further that would help a LOT with future efforts:

I& #39;ve not had a tweet go truly viral before. It& #39;s great that people are engaging and having conversations about this.

Hopefully, we can keep this going in our own schools and communities.

Also thanks for everyone following my other endeavors. It& #39;s appreciated and inspiring.
Also, thank you to everyone that responds to this thread.

I got to thinking about how little black representation or perspective there is in childrens& #39; lives where they spend the majority of their time growing and learning.
Wow. Thanks for all the responses. I& #39;m going to try and compile them later this week and share the results.
I& #39;m going to be up for a bit tonight compiling some of this stuff and doing a short write up.

This was obviously unscientific and I& #39;m just a dude. But I think it will be good for future discussions.

I& #39;m compiling from several platforms and discussion groups so bare with me.
