if you don& #39;t think this is America as it has always been intended to be, please question why you don& #39;t think of the experiences of black people as part of the fabric of our history. We& #39;ve always been this.

Racism, and violence against black people specifically, has been built into the bones of this country from the beginning by design. To deny that is to deny not only history but the humanity of enslaved black people. again, please take some time to question why that is. (3/3)
one last thing, this thread is not intended to wash over America& #39;s history of violence against other people of color - our entire legacy is hatred and violence against so many and the literal least we can do is acknowledge that and educate ourselves on how to unlearn this hatred
